IIT Delhi M.Tech Program 2017 Admission full details :-

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is one of the seven established Institutes of Technology in India. Established as a College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was declared an Institute of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi". It was then accorded the status of a university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations and to award its own degrees. The Institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through its Departments, Centres and Schools. The Institute admits about 850 students for the undergraduate (B.Tech) programmes and about 1400 students for the postgraduate (M.Sc./M.Tech./M.S.(Research)/M.Des./M.B.A./Ph.D.) programmes every year. 

The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi recently announced admissions for the students into M.Tech programs. The institutions are inviting applications for the courses of Master of Technology in Computer science and Engineering (CSE), Computational Biology and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Interested and eligible candidates can send the applications in prescribed format.

M.Tech (CSE and ECE): The aspirants should have a B.Tech or BE Degree in any of the disciplines-Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics and Communication. The candidates should have minimum score of 65 percent or should have 6.5 score out of 10 under the CGPA or CPI System. Aspirants should have minimum score of 60 percent in various degrees including class 12^th Examination.

Computational Biology: The aspirants should have B.Tech or B.E Degree in any of the disciplines Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics and Computing. Aspirants should have B.Tech or B.E Degree in any discipline along with having completed one-year computer programming course and at least two mathematics courses.

Selection Process:

Aspirants should be selected based on three step process

• The aspirants should be shortlisted based on the GATE Score and Past Academic record
• The shortlisted aspirants should have to appear for the written examination
• The aspirants should clear the written test and should clear the personal Interview.

Application Procedure:

The aspirants should apply online on the official website of IIT Delhi, that is www.iitd.ac.in

Application Fee: Candidates should pay an application fee of Rs.350.

Important Dates:

• Last date to receipt the application is May 24^th
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be released on May 25^th
• The written examination and personal interview will be conducted on june 11^th
• The final merit list will be announced on June 15^th
