are expected to be out on 27 April, 2017 and to be declared on official
website, for the exam conducted on April 4 in pen paper based format
while the online exam of JEE Main will be held on April 8,9th 2017. The
declaration of JEE (Main) Paper -I Score and top 150000 candidates
eligible for appearing in JEE (Advanced) will also be announced on the
same day.
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2017 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination (Appendix – 3). Those appearing in these examinations in 2017 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) – 2017 provisionally.
All the candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and ISM Dhanbad for the year 2017 will have to appear in the JEE (Main)-2017 (Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.)). About 150000 top candidates based on the performance of JEE (Main).
The IIT JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on May JEE (Advanced) 2017 (Paper 1) from 9 am to 12pm while paper 2 of JEE Advanced is scheduled on 2pm to 5pm. The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 [JEE (Advanced) 2017] is conducted by the seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017.
